Becky Stevens
Wealth Manager
Becky has 28 years of experience in business, having successfully owned, operated and sold her 85 year old family business. In early 2019, she completed the necessary training and received the licensure to become a Wealth Manager.
Her experience with the challenges of owning and operating a family business, as well as navigating a planned exit strategy, allows her to understand her clients who own businesses, or are involved in family businesses. Having gone through a divorce, she has a personal appreciation for both the emotional and financial difficulties of rebuilding after the loss of one’s partner. As the proud stepparent of a young adult with special needs, she is very interested in helping other families create and fund plans that will assure bright futures for their loved ones.
In addition to her Series 7, Series 66, and insurance licenses, Becky has undertaken additional areas of study in order to serve her clients. She is a CDFA ®. A CDFA® is someone who comes from a financial planning, accounting or legal background and goes through an intensive training program to become skilled in analyzing and providing expertise related to the financial issues of divorce. She is also a CRPC ®. The Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor , or CRPC® program, is a designation program for financial professionals. This program enables experienced advisors, who are focused on retirement planning for individuals, define a “road map to retirement.” There is a focus on clients’ pre- and post-retirement needs, as well as issues related to asset management and estate planning.
Becky became a Wealth Manager because she wanted a career where she could make a difference in the lives of others. Her past and present community involvement includes: the Arc of Blair County; Women Encouraging Leadership, Education and Development – Blair County Chamber of Commerce; Blair Senior Services; United Way of Blair County; Finance Council St. Mary’s Church; Hollidaysburg Women’s Club; and co-founder of a local women’s investment club. She was awarded the Athena Award in 2022. Becky lives in Hollidaysburg with her husband Marty Malone. They have 5 adult children, and are passionate about cooking, entertaining, gardening and travel.
